Where Is Everyone?

Despite it being a holiday only 12 hardcore Pot Gamers showed up under cloudy skies for 3 BB on the South course.  Mad Dog thought he had created a Dream Team when he assembled Triple N,  Little Bow Pete, Billy D and Fireman.  After the first five holes it looked they were running away with it at -4, but golf being golf they fell to earth and shot +2 to lose by one.  Otis's team of Bear (Pot Games newest B player),  Chimney and Skooger thought they were way behind as Billy D kept flashing his 4 fingers downward as they walked past each other, plodded along at +1 on the front only to find out that was good enough.  Meanwhile Skrocki's team Tractorman, Deacon and Rama got off to a slow start with +7.  As Triple N's team unable to recover from their front side implosion faded on the back to +6.  Otis's team giddy with their good fortune roared out the gate on the back nine to get to -3 and were still - 1 playing the 18th, when they imploded as well with +5 on the last hole.  Their +4 wasn't good enough for the back as Skrocki's team coming into 18 at +3, made three pars and grabbed the back by one.

Low scores of the day were Otis 70, Tractorman 75, Triple N 75 and Bear 76.  They were the only ones who broke 80.  There were only 3 skins worth $20 a piece. Skrocki 1, Otis 2.

Otis had a little tear in his eye when he posted his score in the computer because he knows that 70 will be in his lowest 20 scores until 2014, at the rate he posts scores.

Bear out drove Otis on the second fairway by at least 5 yards.  Because his ball was on the left side and kicked off a little hill which may have had something to do with it.  Lets just say Otis didn't let that happen the rest of the day.

Chimney continues to be the best come back putter in America with his rama jama style.  Deacon was with a team that actually waited for him before they teed off today unlike yesterday.

Billy D was rolling along until he caught a case of double bogeyitis on the back nine.  Tractorman continued his fine play over the weekend with scores of 74, 76, 75.
