No Surprise

With foggy skies giving way to a beautiful sunny day, 20 Pot Gamers split into 5 teams to play 3 BB.  It is no surprise if the Captain plays well the team usually plays well and good scores get rewarded.  Yesterday was no exception.  Captain Hollar lead his team of Commish, Penguin and House to a front side of even par which was good for a win.  But Captain Triple N whipped his team of Tractorman, Tee J and Rama into a (seven) birdie frenzy on the back nine to go -4 and take total at -2.  There were four skins worth $25 a piece by Triple N, Hollar, Penguin and Jay Esh.  Low scores were Hollar 71, Triple N 71, Jay Esh 72 (birdied 15-18) and Tractorman 73.  10 players broke 80 on the North course.

Mad Dog collected another $3 from Bear when Bear chunked his way to a back nine 43 (although he did win the 13th with a 6).  YTD Mad Dog up $8.

Rama popped it up short of the ladies tee on 1st hole and bet Bear and Cheez he would still make par.  He collected his winnings ($2) on the deck.

The over/under on the Deacon's score was discontinued this past weekend but might resurface next week by handicapping a different player.

Pudge announced that next Saturday will be the Red, White and Blue to celebrate the 4th of July (had to be a little early because 4th falls on Wednesday).

Deacon after struggling with his golf game has enrolled in the "How To Throw A Ringer Every Time" school in CT, so he can join the Professional Horseshoe Tour.  It is on his bucket list.

Commish had tears in his eyes when he found out Loy took the day off.

Mid Week Commissioner Lenny announced that the week of July 2nd, the tee times will be 7:30am.  This week they will stay at 8am.
